San Gimignano is a small town with about 7000 inhabitants in the province of Siena. It is located on a hill, surrounded by the lovely Tuscan countryside. It became famous mainly through its exceptional medieval architecture, in particular for its numerous towers (12th – 14th century). Fifteen of the 72 original towers still dominate the almost unchanged historic center, perfectly preserved and accessible only from medieval gates date from 13th century. Its ancient walls guide us to another era but they have also been able to welcome and enhance contemporary artistic realities, opening up to European scenes. Since 1990 San Gimignano is part of the UNESCO World heritage.
In 2019 we have inaugurated several temporary exhibition in Via San Martino, with the starred Michelin restaurant Cum Quibus and other exhibition projects: art windows on the philosophy of Nous set in the starred best restaurants street of San Gimignano.
San Gimignano è una piccola città con circa 7000 abitanti in provincia di Siena. E’ situata su una collina, circondata dalla splendida campagna toscana. E’ famosa soprattutto per la sua eccezionale architettura medievale, in particolare per le sue numerose torri medievali (XII – XIV secolo), che sono sopravvissute. Queste si alzano dalle casette visibili in lontananza e danno alla città il soprannome di “Manhattan del Medioevo”. 15 delle 72 torri originarie dominano ancora il centro storico, quasi invariato, perfettamente conservato e accessibile solo dalle porte della città medievale, risalenti al XIII secolo. Dal 1990 il centro storico è stato inserito nella lista del patrimonio mondiale dell’UNESCO.
Nel 2019 abbiamo inaugurato diverse esposizioni temporanee in Via San Martino, con il ristorante stellato Cum Quibus e altre esposizioni temporanee: finestre sulla filosofia di Nous incastonate nella via dei ristoranti stellati di San Gimignano.
