Nous Art Gallery presents the 2025 collective art exhibition.

Nous Art Gallery seleziona il lavoro di artiste e artisti  nazionali  e  internazionali, le cui opere manifestano l’esito di una ricerca intima  sulle origini del rapporto atavico  che persiste e che lega tutti gli esseri.  Secondo una visione per la quale tutto si mescola e tutto si disgrega, ciascun essere, vivente e non, protrae la propria essenza  attraverso una sequenza infinita di metamorfosi. Ogni  elemento  naturale  è  pertanto partecipe nella creazione delle opere pittoriche e scultoree  del corpus di artiste e artisti rappresentati dalla galleria. Tra le loro opere emerge un legame indissolubile   che   riflette    la     consapevolezza di appartenenza  a  un  mondo in cui ciascuno si fonde in una cosa sola.

Nous Art Gallery selects the  works of  national and international artists, whose works manifest  the  result of  an  intimate  research into the origins of the atavistic relationship  that persists and unites all beings. According  to  a  vision  for  which   everything   mixes  and everything dissolves, every being, living  and  non-living, prolongs its essence through an infinite series of metamorphoses. Each natural element is therefore a participant  in  the  creation  of   the pictorial and  sculptural  works  of  the group  of  artists  represented  by  the gallery. An indissoluble bond emerges between their works, reflecting an awareness of belonging to a world in which everyone merges into one.

Il termine greco ‘Nous’ appare inizialmente nella poesia omerica nell’VIII secolo a.C. per descrivere la facoltà di comprendere un fenomeno e l’altro da se’  in una dinamica di interdipendenza.

Per Anassagora, Nous è la mente, l’intelletto cosmico, la forza ordinatrice che regola il caos e che plasma il mondo. Nulla nasce e nulla perisce secondo il filosofo pre-socratico, bensì tutto si mescola e si disgrega, “tutte le cose sono in ogni cosa”. Il mondo è dunque l’insieme dei semi di tutte le sostanze, forgiato dall’azione ordinatrice del Nous.

The Greek term ‘Nous’ first appeared in Homeric poetry in the 8th century B.C. to describe the faculty of understanding one phenomenon and another in a dynamic of interdependence.

For Anaxagoras, ‘Nous’ is the mind, the cosmic intellect, the ordering force that regulates chaos and shapes the world. According to the pre-Socratic philosopher, nothing is born and nothing perishes; instead, everything mixes and separates, “all things are in everything.” The world is thus the totality of the seeds of all substances, forged by the ordering action of ‘Nous’.
